SEATTLE, WA—Bowl For Kids’ Sake, an annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of King & Pierce Counties, will take place on Saturday, March 20 at the Sunset Bowl in Seattle and on Saturday, March 27 at the Chalet Bowl in Tacoma. Both events are sponsored by The Keg Spirit Foundation.
"We are strong believers in giving back to the communities that support us," said Carolyn Torhjelm, Executive Director of The Keg Spirit Foundation. "Big Brothers Big Sisters of King & Pierce Counties is a phenomenal organization that does great things for children through their one-to-one mentoring programs, and we're pleased to support their work through our support of Bowl for Kid’s Sake."
Interested bowlers can sign up to participate in the event at www.bigsandlittles.org. The Web site provides free registration along with an email tools to invite family and friends to pledge online in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Prizes will be awarded for different levels of fundraising. The biggest fundraiser will receive a pair of round trip tickets on Southwest Airlines. Prizes will also be awarded for best individual score, best team score, best team name, best bowling form and other competitions. All funds raised go toward matching children with caring adults in our communities.
The Seattle event will be emceed by Andy Mckaige from KMTT The Mountain and the Tacoma event will be emceed by 'Stubbs' from KMPS Radio.
