Mr. Aisenstat has held his current position with The Keg since June 1997. Mr. Aisenstat previously served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Keg Restaurants Ltd. from 1982 until 1987 when The Keg was acquired by Whitbread. Since 1988, Mr. Aisenstat has also served as President of Hy's of Canada Ltd., a fine dining steakhouse restaurant chain, but devotes substantially all of his working time to KRL.
Mr. Dean is responsible for leading the efforts of senior executives to execute and develop current and long-range objectives, strategies and policies for the organization. His direct reports include operations, people and culture, marketing, corporate services and franchising. Mr. Dean joined The Keg in 2019 as President. Prior to that, Mr. Dean was the President and CEO of KBS Canada, The Keg’s advertising and communications agency for over 20 years. Mr. Dean attended the University of Western Ontario where he received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and McMaster University where he received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Mr. Maclean has been employed with The Keg since 1979, primarily in a financial capacity, but has also held a number of operational positions during his tenure. Mr. Maclean became Vice President of Finance and Administration in 1986 and was appointed to his current role in June 1997. Mr. Maclean is a Chartered Professional Accountant, CGA.
In addition to the members of the executive committee, KRL employs ten senior corporate Managers with more than 170 years of combined experience with The Keg. The long-term association that these Keggers have with The Keg is a powerful testament to the passion and loyalty The Keg inspires within the organization. The senior management's collective experience with The Keg is one of KRL's most important assets. Senior management is a group of fully aligned and committed Keggers.
